Why Retrofit?

CNC Retrofit is a modernization process performed to increase the performance and functionality of existing CNC machines.

In cases of malfunctions in old models or second-hand machines, retrofitting comes to the fore as a best solution due to the very limited support of the machine manufacturer, the inability to supply spare parts or the problems of supplying very expensive spare parts.

The most important benefit is to be able to add new features to the existing machine such as robotic loading system, measuring systems adaptations and so on.

With the retrofit process;

How Do We Do It?

As Mikron Automation and CNC Technologies, we are the solution partner of well-known hardware and software providers in the retrofitting process of five-axis CNC tool grinding and manufacturing machines.

First, the old equipment and mechanical systems on the machine to be retrofitted are examined. Following this examination, detailed information is provided regarding the work to be done on the machine and the products to be used.

All the information provided and our customer's requests are prepared in detail in the form of a contract, an agreement is reached and the transactions are initiated.

We take the machine to our workshop for processing and ship it to our customer once it's completed or we are creating a Retro package and send to our customer then we finalize all the work at the customer site. Final acceptance and training are conducted at the customer's location.

All old products removed from the original system are returned to the customer.
